So, I have an idea on how Fire Emblem Heroes could work with amiibo.
First off, the general use. Once per day, you can scan any amiibo to get random items, like Hero Feathers, Badges, and in rare cases, Orbs, but the amount of that item you get is preset. Only amiibo that have been registered to a Wii U, 3DS, or Switch can be used, however.
But for amiibo of Fire Emblem characters, they'll have a secondary use: amiibo units. These units will always have the "amiibo" title (in Corrin's case, it would be P1 amiibo for male Corrin and P2 amiibo for female Corrin), and you can only get one of each unit (for example, if you have an Ike amiibo unit, even if you use a different Ike amiibo, you cannot receive that unit again), making it so that they cannot be merged into other units. The units themselves are permanent, will have the same stats and skills as the original units, and will have neutral IVs. Additionally, they cannot be removed in any way, meaning they cannot be sent home for Hero Feathers or used to give skills to other units, but they can inherit skills from other units. You can only receive one amiibo unit daily, along with the random items, which counts toward your daily amiibo usage. Here's an example image of an amiibo Unit that I made.
I'd also like for female Robin to be obtainable as an amiibo unit, but there's no P2 version of the Robin amiibo, so... yeah.
Let me know what you think of this idea in the comments. I might adjust this based on the feedback.

My Thoughts On Custom Yugioh Card Types
This is sort of a follow-up on my thoughts on custom Yugioh Summoning methods. Please read that first, as everything I said there applies here as well. That being said, I'll be talking about the cards themselves this time around. Like with the journal linked above, please read the entire journal before you make judgements on what I'm saying here. I'm gonna be blunt, I am legitimately confused by most of the custom card types I've seen on the internet. Some of them seem to serve a purpose that cards in the game already serve with just a bit extra that makes them different, yet that extra bit could easily be included as a card effect (ex. Ambush Monsters, which is clearly based on Trap Monsters), while others feel like the creators are just trying to create something "cool and awesome" without actually trying to balance the cards (ex. Excharge Monsters). More still are just really difficult to wrap my brain around (ex. Brave Monsters). And then there are the small few that were
My Thoughts On Custom Yugioh Summoning Methods
I ask that you read the entire Journal before you make judgements on what I'm saying here. Custom Summoning Methods, and by extension custom card types, are very popular across the Yugioh fandom (from what I can tell, anyway). I have seen many different custom card types with their own Summoning Methods, and I always thought that the idea of new card types and Summoning Methods was cool. I even wanted to make some myself, but I could never figure out the names, colors, or Summoning Methods of the card types I wanted to create. However, with every custom card type I've seen over the years, I always felt that something was off about them. It wasn't until I found SpellCommander91's Youtube videos that I realized what that was. They failed to capture what the official Advanced Summoning Methods themselves represented: energy. To be specific, each Advanced Summoning Method in the game, as well as Tribute Summoning, represents either a form of or a method of using energy. The only
Yugioh Archetype Concept: Elf
To be honest, I initially didn't really have a solid direction for what I wanted to do with this archetype when I was making cards for the archetype's user, Aurae, except that I wanted it to consist entirely of Elf-Type Pendulum Monsters, as well as Supreme Elf-Type monsters. I ended up just throwing whatever I could think of onto the cards and calling it a day. I think it's time to fix that. Please check these custom rules I made first. They are very relevant to this archetype. My current idea is to have the archetype be heavily focused on getting Ritual Monsters and Extra Deck Monsters on the field. Because of this, I'm thinking that the pure Elf-Type Monsters in the Main Deck would revolve around making Ritual and Extra Deck Monsters easier to Summon, either through effects related to those Summoning methods or by getting themselves or other monsters onto the field. This doesn't mean that they're useless on their own, though, as I want them to still have a viable ATK and/or DEF
Yugioh Decklist: Aurae
This is the decklist for the character that I created these cards for. In addition to listing the cards in her deck, I will also list which worlds she obtains said cards in and provide links to official cards included in her deck. Note: Only cards that she actively includes in her Deck are listed here. Cards that she owns but chooses not to use will not be lister. 5D's World (First Visit) Main Deck Monsters Black Luster Soldier (Normal) x1 Ebon Magician Curran x1 White Magician Pikeru x1 Spells Dark Hole x3 Fairy Meteor Crush x3 Pot of Greed x1 Traps A Rival Appears! x3 Negate Attack x3 Urgent Tuning x3 ???
